Silver Throne Foundation

Supporting the under-privileged to be privileged

The Silver Throne Foundation is how our firm gives something back. Alongside our work for clients, we support children, families and communities who have far fewer opportunities than most of us take for granted.

Our aim is simple: to help our communities stay upright, and to give young people the start in life that lets them build a better future for themselves.

Our two commitments

What the Foundation stands for

Everything the Foundation does comes back to two promises.

Supporting Hand

Supporting under-privileged to be privileged

Silver Throne Supporting Hand

Many children grow up without the basics that make learning possible. Through our Supporting Hand, we help to close that gap so that circumstances at birth do not decide what a child can achieve.

Our Communities

Helping our communities to stay upright

Helping Our Communities

Strong communities look after their own. We work alongside the people and groups who know their communities best, helping them to keep going through difficult times and to plan for the future.

Where we help

The areas we support

Our support is focused where it can make the biggest difference to a young person's life and to the community around them.

Education and learning

Helping children stay in school and learn, so they have the knowledge and confidence to shape their own futures.

✿

Early years and childcare

Supporting day care and early years settings that give young children a safe, caring place to grow.

⌂

Community wellbeing

Standing with families and local groups so that communities can stay upright when times are hard.

✓

Practical know-how

Sharing our skills as accountants and advisers with community organisations that need sound financial guidance.

Our approach

Support that is practical and lasting

We would rather help in a way that keeps working long after the first visit. That means listening first, working through people who know the community, and following through.

  1. 1

    Listen first

We start by understanding what a community or setting actually needs, rather than assuming.

  2. 2

    Work with local people

We work alongside teachers, carers and community leaders who know the people they serve.

  3. 3

    Give practical help

Our support goes where it is most useful, whether that is for learning, care or day-to-day running.

  4. 4

    Follow through

We stay in touch and keep an eye on how the support is being used, so it keeps making a difference.
